SKYDANCERS is an award-winning documentary by filmmaker, Fredric Lean. It portrays some of world’s top female pilots today during the 27th World Aerobatics Championships (WAC)-- the most prestigious Aerobatic competition on the planet. The film reveals a fascinating look at these SKYDANCERS - Queens Of The Sky.
This inspiring feature documentary which explores the complicated struggle and fragmented stories of some Iraqi refugees and exiled as some of them attempt to integrate themselves into the American landscape while struggling with the demons of their past. The film features other contributors such Noam Chomsky, former U.N diplomat Denis Halliday, Bob Carey (THE IRC), Bill Frelick (Human Rights Watch), Emmy Takahashi (UNHCR)...The film was screened at the United Nations in June 2012.
Synopsis: A riptide occurs when 2 opposing natural currents collide. 'Fragile' is a non-conventional tale about a married woman who goes through a mid-life crisis and who finds self-liberation after an encounter with a photographer with a strange offer while her husband is on the hunt for a rapist. The film is starring award-winning actress Sheree J. Wilson ‘Dallas’ & ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’. ‘Fragile’ was part of the Official Selection of Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival 2006.
